: Disagreement by design!
I quickly knit these up for my daughter and her friend. I did the āSā bear first, āAā bear second.

Some lessons learned:
Duplicate stitch is the only sane option for colorwork in the round beyond horizontal stripes.
Embroidery is much easier before you stuff the piece.
On the second bear, I did all of the backstitching (arms, legs) before stuffing. On the arms it gave much better definition to the shoulders, but on the legs it made them harder to stuff and they were a bit uneven.
